011626 Tell Congress: Oppose Military Action Against Greenland

Donald Trump is threatening to seize Greenland from Denmark—our NATO ally of 75 years—by military force. Congress must act now.

Trump claims this is about national security, but Denmark has already offered to expand U.S. military presence under a 1951 treaty. Trump's real demand is ownership and control, and he's willing to use force to get it.

Seizing territory by force violates international law and NATO's founding principles. Trump is threatening the same territorial aggression we've condemned in Russia.

Greenland's prime minister said it clearly: "We choose Denmark, NATO, and the EU." Their self-determination matters. European allies are pledging solidarity with Denmark and warning of "unprecedented consequences" if Trump acts.

Only 17% of Americans support this. Substantial majorities of both Democrats and Republicans oppose using military force. Even most Republicans think military action is a terrible idea.

Congress can stop this. Demand they pass a resolution opposing military action, reaffirm our NATO commitments, and block funding for operations against Greenland.

Tell Congress to stop Trump from invading Greenland before it’s too late.

In solidarity,
