020626 Tell Congress: Audit Trump Donor’s Deportation Scheme
The Trump administration is using a luxury private jet—owned by a Trump business partner and major donor—to secretly deport Palestinian men to the Israeli-occupied West Bank while funneling up to $500,000 per flight in taxpayer money to Trump's associate.
Gil Dezer has partnered with Trump on six luxury towers and donated over $1.3 million to his campaigns. Now ICE is chartering his 16-passenger Gulfstream for secret deportation flights from Arizona to Tel Aviv—costing taxpayers potentially half a million dollars per round trip.
Maher Awad, 24, was deported away from his newborn son in Michigan before he could see him. The men were shackled for the entire transatlantic flight and dropped at a West Bank checkpoint "like animals on the side of the road" in prison tracksuits.
Many had lived in the US for decades. Awad grew up in Michigan, paid taxes, and called police to report a break-in—only to be arrested by ICE instead.
This is corruption disguised as immigration enforcement. Taxpayer money is enriching Trump's business partners through secretive flights that deny due process and separate families.
