Tell Congress: Stop DHS Insider Dealing

The Department of Homeland Security just handed $250,000 of your money to a Republican political firm — and only gave competitors 31 hours to bid on it.

The contract posting explicitly demanded partisan loyalty: "The contractor must demonstrate an established track record of promoting Trump administration policies in the media."

Legal experts with decades of procurement experience say they've never seen anything like it. The winning firm, American Made Media Company, had zero prior government contracting experience. And the whole process was reportedly overseen by Corey Lewandowski — Trump's former campaign manager, now a senior DHS adviser who sources say controls approval of six-figure contracts at the agency.

Federal law requires procurement to be conducted with "complete impartiality and with preferential treatment for none." This contract violated that standard in writing, in broad daylight.

Tell Congress: investigate this contract and ban partisan loyalty requirements from federal procurement.
