031126 Tell Congress: Investigate Hegseth Now
Seven U.S. troops are dead. The Pentagon has provided no accounting of how or why. And Pete Hegseth is on television promising more casualties.
Congress must open a formal investigation into Hegseth and the Department of Defense — and your signature demands exactly that.
Here's what we know and what demands answers:
Six army reservists were killed in an Iranian drone strike on a U.S. base in Kuwait. No one at the Pentagon has been held accountable for the decisions that put them there.
The administration blamed Iran for striking a girls' school. Footage appeared to show a U.S. Tomahawk missile near the site. Hegseth's only response: "It's being investigated."
Hegseth cheerled a continuing conflict costing hundreds of lives while stonewalling any public accounting of the chain of command decisions behind it.
A formal congressional investigation can subpoena testimony, compel documents, and force the Pentagon to answer for every decision made in Operation Epic Fury. That's the accountability these families — and this country — deserve.
