033026 Tell Congress: Repeal The $1T Healthcare Cuts Now

The U.S. already pays more for healthcare than any other country on earth — not because we use more care, but because our prices are higher. Economists have known this for decades.

The solution is more coverage, lower prices, and less administrative waste. A single-payer system, for example, would eliminate billions in billing overhead and give the government real leverage to negotiate drug prices down.

But instead of reducing costs, Trump signed the largest cut to American healthcare in history. The “One Big Beautiful Bill” slashed over $1 trillion from Medicaid, Medicare, and the ACA to pay for tax cuts for the wealthy. It’s time to right this wrong.

Tell Congress: Repeal Trump’s $1T healthcare cuts and reduce healthcare costs for all of us.

Here is what Trump’s cuts will do to real people:

Up to 17 million Americans will soon lose health insurance. Medicaid work requirements begin in 2027, cutting off low-income adults who can't navigate new bureaucratic hurdles. ACA premiums have more than doubled for millions of families. Medicare Savings Programs that help seniors afford their costs are frozen for nine years. Medicare itself is on a faster path to insolvency.

Rural hospitals are closing. Patients are skipping medications. Doctors are leaving underserved communities. And the administrative burden — the billing departments, the insurance paperwork, the prior authorizations — keeps growing, driving costs higher while delivering nothing to patients.

Other countries cover everyone for less. We could too. Instead, Congress is moving in the opposite direction.
