Get bee-killing neonics off Home Depot’s shelves

America’s agricultural landscape has become 50 times more toxic to insects than it was in the 1990s, when neonicotinoid pesticides were first introduced. Neonics damage bees’ brains and can even kill them outright.

These pesticides can seep into waterways and travel for miles. They get absorbed into the leaves, pollen, and nectar of plants far from the place the chemicals were originally applied. Little truly safe habitat remains, and bee populations are plummeting.
