07.30.25 | Tell HHS: Reinstate All U.S. Preventive Services Task Force Members
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is planning to fire all 16 members of the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force—the independent panel of medical experts who determine which cancer screenings and preventive health measures insurers must cover at no cost to patients.
His reason? He considers them too "woke."
Cancer screenings that catch disease early and save lives
Preventive medications that keep chronic conditions in check
Evidence-based healthcare decisions made by medical experts, not political appointees
Free access to proven preventive care under the Affordable Care Act
The task force has served the American people since 1984, using rigorous scientific evidence to determine which health interventions actually work. These aren't partisan decisions—they're life-and-death recommendations based on medical research and data.
Dismantling this panel puts millions of Americans at risk. When preventive care becomes political, people die.
We cannot allow ideology to override medical expertise. The health of our families, our communities, and our nation depends on keeping science at the center of healthcare decisions.
