• Mario Guevara, a legal U.S. resident and respected reporter, was livestreaming a protest in Atlanta

• He clearly identified himself as press, but was arrested and hit with misdemeanor charges

• Even after those charges were dropped, ICE refused to release him — and now they want to deport him

This isn’t about justice. It’s about silencing a journalist — and it sets a terrifying precedent.
