Tell the STB: Stop the Union Pacific-Norfolk Southern Merger

Union Pacific and Norfolk Southern want to merge in an $85 billion deal that would create America's largest railroad monopoly. This mega-merger threatens thousands of rail jobs and eliminates competition across entire regions.

The largest rail union is already warning of "service meltdowns" and massive job losses. Past railroad mergers have failed to deliver promised efficiencies while harming workers and customers.

When railroads consolidate, workers lose jobs and shippers lose options. We can't let two giants become one mega-monopoly.

Fortunately, the Surface Transportation Board, which must approve railroad mergers in the U.S., has the power to stop them. Now, we need to put pressure on the board to make it happen.

Tell the Surface Transportation Board: Protecting competition and jobs matters more than corporate profits.
