The Trump administration has imposed devastating cuts to cancer research funding, slashing billions of dollars from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and terminating over 1,800 research grants. This threatens breakthrough treatments that could save millions of lives.

Cancer research grant funding has declined by 31% in the first three months of 2025. Pediatric cancer research receives only 4% of government cancer funds despite being the leading cause of death by disease for children under 20. We can’t afford further cuts.

When we cut cancer research, we abandon patients fighting for their lives and delay cures that could save future generations.
