Tell Congress: Restore DEI and defend equity in government

On his very first day back in office, Trump signed an executive order to wipe out Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs across the federal government.

Here’s what’s happening:

• Gutting DEI jobs and funding: Entire teams were dismantled. Grants for equity initiatives have been slashed.

• Erasing protections for marginalized groups: Trump even rescinded affirmative action rules for federal contractors.

•  Banning the language of inclusion itself: DEI terms are being purged from federal documents and agency missions.

This is more than bureaucratic housecleaning—it’s a deliberate attack on racial justice, gender equity, and inclusive public policy.

We must act now to stop this whitewashing of government and demand that DEI programs be reinstated and protected.
